DOGS
I got my first Collie in 1977 while in College. I had been "training" the neighbors dogs since I was about 12 ! Ive had many dogs since, always some Collies (mostly smooths) but also Aussies, Border Collies, German shepherds, Belgian Tervurens and Malinois, Dobermans, Poodles , Border terrier, Bearded Collie,.. alot of dogs! Did some rescue work, therapy work, Modeling for TV and magazines, tried just about everything a dog could do, Sled racing, lure coursing, schutzhund (protection work) Obedience, agility,tracking, conformation shows, rally, HERDING, I taught herding lessons for about 10 years, held herding events at our farms in NY and VA, Did some judging too. Im probly forgetting something! I have bred Collies for over 30 years now. Specially looking for the dog who could 'do it all" . Right now Im semi-retired (or just tired?) and am not doing anything with the dogs. I still have 3 smooth collies a border terrier and my fiances german shepherd. all but one are 7 or older! Since Swing died I just cant seem to get motivated, hopefully that will pass and Ill get active in dogs again. Goldie is the only one who is still breedable, so maybe next summer...

SUNBRIAR GOLDEN SNITCH
"GOLDIE" was sired by Ch Shadaglen Look For Me HS and out of Ch Sunbriar Swingtime PT (a Swing daughter,) Goldie was the ONLY girl in a litter of 7 . Martha claimed her the moment she was born. She was Marthas pup! Martha did some Jr Show with her and conformation and some rally. Goldie has 4 pts and 2 rally legs .

"LINDY" is a littermate to Dancer. Sired by Shadaglen prince of Thieves HX CD TD and out of CH Sunbriar Swing HXAd HSAs HSBd OA OAJ CD VX CGC . Lindy is Co-owned with Bonnie Young of Spokane WA. At 9yrs of age shes pretty much retired now. we have 2 rally legs and will finish that. Lindy had two litters. and only 2 bitch puppies. CH Kelso's Staccato (Pumpkin) owned by Nancy Kelso and "Goldie". One of her sons is now a working guide dog (Tipper)

"Corky" is our "token little dog". Hes a Border Terrier who was given to me by his breeder Debbie Eckels. Here he is pictured with Martha after earning his earthdog "instinct test" . Corky has a Rally Novice leg also. He knows a few tricks and is always easy to get along with. He loves everyone and everything.
FROG
Yes, "Frog" is his name, no fancy name, just FROG. he is a big goofy German Shepherd that is Paul's dog. He has no training, no titles. He lounges around the property and is supposed to help keep deer and bunnies from eating everything, but he doesnt always do a good job at that either!
